As your County Supervisor, I am committed to making our community safer, cleaner and more prosperous. Known as the “King of Code Enforcement” by the Fresno Bee, I’m proud of the work being done to remove inoperable vehicles, clean up trash and repairing miles of alleys, streets, curbs and sidewalks.
In the last 5 years alone, we have completed nearly $5 million in projects. We’ve targeted and cleaned alleys and streets districtwide and installed new lighting in alleys and are building a new community pool in Calwa. Resurfaced many county streets like Orange and Church Avenues, built and repaired sidewalks and executed a lead-based paint removal program keeping our children safe.
I have been a strong voice for seniors, children and veterans on the Board of Supervisors. By working with the City of Fresno and Fresno Unified, the old Juvenile Hall will soon be a new educational complex. Additionally, together with Congressman Costa, we now have $7 million dollars for additional infrastructure improvements.
My support of public safety, business and community organizations has earned me the endorsements of the Fresno Chamber of Commerce, Fresno Deputy Sheriffs’ Association, Sheriff John Zanoni and former Sheriff Margaret Mims.
I would appreciate your vote.
